Surgi\u00f3 en los a\u00f1os 70 y 80 con la influencia del skate y el surf en California \u2014con marcas pioneras como St\u00fcssy\u2014, el hip-hop en Nueva York y la est\u00e9tica rebelde del punk, combinando comodidad con una fuerte carga visual: sudaderas amplias, zapatillas de Nike o Adidas, gorras y camisetas con gr\u00e1ficos. No respond\u00eda a las normas de la moda tradicional, sino a la m\u00fasica, el arte urbano y la vida de barrio, algo que m\u00e1s adelante reforzar\u00edan marcas como Supreme.
